_Live Wire! Radio
Founder, Creator, Executive Producer, Writer & Artistic Director As founder, I created the vision for Live Wire! Radio, a live-to-tape radio variety show aired on public radio and internet stations around the country. Over eight years, I created the content and the brand with a highly talented team of producers and performers. I also directed performers, booked the shows with the production staff, built business partnerships, raised the money, navigated the murky waters of Oregon Public Broadcasting, and wrote sponsor spots. I also met Chuck Barris twice, put a mime on the radio, and busted up a fight or two. Photos courtesy of Anthony Pidgeon www.livewireradio.org Watch Video > |

AC United
I created an identity for a business leader recruitment campaign benefitting a new non-profit after-school youth soccer/language arts program for kids below the poverty line. Using the much maligned mullet as the inspiration, we brought business and Timbers Army people together in beautiful harmony, raising close to $200,000 in sponsorships. ![]()

Oregon Cultural Trust
Creative Strategist With Sheepscot Creative, we developed the creative strategy for 2010 - 2012 state-wide Days of Culture campaigns. To improve their visibility, and grow their donor base, we created a Facebook photo contest, asking Oregonians to define what culture means to them, then take a photo and post it the Trust webpage. The contest netted more than 1,200 entries and a 20% increase in Facebook “likes” in less than a month. For 2012, we created seven videos illustrating the Trust's impact on Oregonians, developed a digital field guide to Oregon culture, and created a print campaign with award-winning photographer Holly Andres.http://www.oregonculturaltrust.org p.s. I survived five road trips with Dave with nary a road/moose incident. Watch Video > |

(D)early Departed: True Lies In Song Unearthed From Lone Fir
Producer I developed, curated, art directed and produced a critically acclaimed album of original songs written and performed by select Portland musicians based on Portland's historic Lone Fir cemetery residents' untimely deaths. Musicians include Storm Large, Holcombe Waller, Pete Krebs, Weinland's Adam Shearer and others and remains the single largest source of non-ticket income for Friends of Lone Fir. Concepts, Happenings and a Contortionist
Regional Arts and Culture Council: Party in the Name of Art
I wrote, produced and directed a multimedia variety show honoring outgoing mayor Sam Adams and featuring over 15 of Portland's top performing arts organizations including Phame Academy, Bodyvox, Storm Large, The Circus Project's arrow-shooting contortionist and Portlandia's Fred Armisten. I conceived of the Art Apothecary, a site-specific interactive installation, and worked with RACC staff to bring it to life. I provided copy for print materials and collateral including beer labels, sponsorship materials and random wordy things. (Because I come up with terms like "wordy things.") |
